Collector House Clearances

Collector houses are different to standard clearances. There’s usually a lot of items, often carefully kept, and it’s not always obvious what should stay, go, or be sold.

We take our time with these jobs and go through everything properly.

We understand these properties often represent years of collecting, and every situation is different. Some items have clear value, others are more personal or harder to part with. We handle that carefully and work with you to decide what makes sense to keep, sell or clear.

As we go through, anything that has resale value is identified can be offset against your clearance, placed with our buyers or set aside for auction if that’s the better route.

Where items are sold or offset, this is taken into account against the cost of the clearance. The rest is cleared in an organised way so the property can be used again.

Access can sometimes be tight depending on how full the property is, but we’re used to working around that and just take it step by step.

If you need help with a collector’s property, send a few photos or details and we’ll talk you through how we’d approach it and what it’s likely to involve.
